KON KAU CHUEY is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Mexico City. During his years studying Design at the School of Design from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico, he leaned towards photography as a tool of life and through which to explore the world that surrounds him. After completing his master in Fashion Photography at EFTI in Madrid, his photographic style has evolved along with his fascination for different artistic manifestations such as dance and architecture that have inspired him to create and find his own voice.
Kon Kau's photography embraces black & white aesthetics as a form of expression, resulting in exciting, powerful, and poetic images.
Simultaneously with his photographic praxis, Kon Kau works on commissions for the fashion industry and as Creative Director of 'Estrella Cascabel', a studio focused on visual production.
